Emma Melendez opened her workshop and store in 1951 and remained in business
until 1971. Her workshop produced beautifully crafted pieces. Often her silversmith’s
signed their pieces with their mark in addition to hers, and in the case of this bracelet we
know that it was Jose Luis Flores.
